Trash collection in Winchester, Stephens City, Frederick County, Ashburn, & Sterling, VA

You may use your own trash bins (96 gallons or less), or you can use one of our 95 gallon bins.

Please have your bins out the night before pickup or before 5:00 AM on your scheduled pickup day.

Place your bins by the street where they are easily accessible to our pickup crew.

If your bins are placed in a parking space, please position them at the end of the parking space closest to the street. Do not place bins against the curb or where they are blocked by vehicles or other obstacles, as they may not be emptied.

If your bins are not out when our crew arrives, we may not be able to return until your next scheduled pickup day.

If you use your own trash bins, please label them with your house number to help our pickup crew identify them from neighboring bins.

We do not accept paint, concrete, dirt, soil, rocks, sand, tires, car batteries, lithium batteries, laptop batteries, large metal items, televisions, gas, oil, hazardous waste, fluorescent tube light bulbs, explosives, flammable items/liquids, animal carcasses, manure, live ammunition, weapons, oxygen/helium/propane tanks, freon, mulch, sod, firewood, stumps, bags over 60 pounds, or construction/remodel debris such as tiles, shingles, lumber, plaster, bricks, and drywall.

Bins containing excessive amounts of liquid or unaccepted items will not be emptied.

We will not empty bins that belong to another active garbage collection company.

Flattened cardboard may be placed outside of your bins. Please bundle cardboard with tape, string/rope, or place it in a bag to help our crew collect it efficiently.

Sharp items such as razor blades and knives should be placed in a durable container to help prevent injuries.

Please bag styrofoam and shredded paper to keep these materials contained and help keep our community clean.

Yard waste must be placed in closed paper bags and left outside of your bins.
We accept up to 4 yard waste bags per week.

Accepted Yard Waste:
Grass, weeds, trimmings, leaves, and twigs.

Unaccepted Yard Waste:
Dirt, soil, mulch, sod, firewood, stumps, and rocks.

If you have unaccepted yard waste or larger items that need to be removed, visit the Customer Support page and select "Request A Large Item Pickup".

With our junk removal service, we remove furniture, appliances, yard waste, construction/demolition debris, televisions, mattresses, trash, pianos, sheds, hot tubs, and more. We can remove these items from curbside or from inside of your home.
You can call us or request a free junk removal estimate online.
When you sign up for our garbage collection service, you will receive 10% off our junk removal service.

If pickup days change due to winter weather or route changes, you will be notified by email. Please check your spam/junk folder if you do not see the notification.
